So Long Solange (Jean-Claude Frottage 2013) All that remains are these movie stills taken during the shoot by a one-eyed photographer before he stepped off the sidewalk into the oncoming traffic. So Long Solange was originally conceived in black & white as a Nouvelle Vieux Vague (French New Old Wave). A homage to the 1960s. This now legendary, lost, arthouse classic with its monumental underground reputation - was for the first and only time in cinematic history the only full length feature shot along the streets of Paris in one single, hand held 97 minute take (apart from when they dropped the camera phone during rush hour on the Metro). My stand-in failed to show up, so I had to do the whole gruelling 97 minute performance myself. Furthermore, there was no wardrobe (stolen by the stand-in the day before) so I had to play Solange in my underwear. Those who saw it, say it might have been my greatest work... some say that it was so great that I not only managed to momentarily snatch Meryl's crown but headbutt her as well... metaphorically, of course. My performance was so convincing and visually arresting that just left off the Champs-Élysées a coach party of Russian men on a day trip to the city had formed a queue, asking, 'Does she take travellers cheques?'... Just as we wrapped, Jean-Claude overdosed and was turning blue... and it was during the commotion that someone noticed that he had failed to switch the camera on... and so one of the greatest 97 minute achievements in Cinema was lost forever. Robert Ebert (Roger's half-cousin) wrote of it that it sounded like one of the most pretentious films never made. But for many years (almost three) it was rumored that it was going to be remade in Hollywood with Eddie Redmayne as Solange, but nobody could figure out what it might have been about... Sadly Jean-Claude Frottage was sentenced to 20 years for drug trafficking and acts of indecent behavior. He never made another film. Oh honey and as for me, as an actress & artist, I never look back... I also don't do movies in Paris anymore... As I'm not allowed without police supervision.

Oh honey, that's still being shot. It should leak around December, in time for the award season... One of the grips tweeted 'MsMovieStar_sextape_so white' to the director and now the set is like the United Nations. Three of my stand-ins have walked and I'm now having to do my own stunts. I think the rest might have to be CGI. I can't begin to tell you how exhausting it is being hoisted up and flown back and forth in front of a green screen...

There are many Paramount titles of the 30s that are locked away that I would love to see. I love the performances of Sylvia Sidney, but most of her films are locked away. i would love to see WB finally release the natalie Wood film Penelope, which I have seen before, but I loved it.
