Do The Nerves count? They only released the one EP, right? Others off my head are those side-gig ones like Divine Fits or The I Don't Cares or those older mostly singles groups like The Ronettes (they only did one studio album but a lot outside of that)

Do The Nerves count? They only released the one EP, right? Others off my head are those side-gig ones like Divine Fits or The I Don't Cares or those older mostly singles groups like The Ronettes (they only did one studio album but a lot outside of that) GREAT mentions.....I'm thinking Divine Fits and I Don't Cares won't do followups either - grrrrrrr.........I always say about The Nerves that there's only a handful of EP's that truly matter - Buzzcocks Spiral Scratch, REM's Chronic Town, Mission of Burma's Signals Calls and Marches and that Nerves EP might be the big 4 of that format...... There's a kind of heartbreaking The Nerves compilation album called "One Way Ticket" which compiles everything they ever did in the studio and some live stuff that hints what an album would have sounded like if they tried to cut one - the production is pretty rough (sometimes awful) but the songs are pretty great........one of the big "what ifs" I mean didn't even get to an album.....

Some of those Nerves songs - like this one, despite the quality (tho it gives it a cool feel like you've discovered it, like one of few to hear it) - still it's a song that is beautiful, timeless, catchy... might've even been a classic you and your buddies would sing when it played late at the bar or something. Also feels like a 90s, 00s song more than 70s.
