Mattsby- Well, I think we can rule that theory out. Maybe. But it looks like I'm right so far. I knew how shady Rapport's character is. The fact he has glitter on just like the killer and was on the hotel during the killer's presence chasing Lucy. Plus, out of the shady things I mentioned. Please be him.

Honestly few things... 1. I knew Lane's character was the real father.
2. Even though I sort of guessed it wrong, I knew Rapport's character was involved somehow. I think his partner too.
3. It looks like Fey's character is going to be the murderer. I didn't expect that. Last season, I knew Amy Ryan's character up to episode 7 was the killer. Can't wait for the finale.

one ep into S2 and bailing for now. It's just so boring. S1 was okayish but ultimately it felt like I watched 10 episodes *just* for Martin Short and I don't know if I wanna do that again. Gomez is still a plank of Wood and Martin's still corny. There's only so many hours in the day.

A hilarious speech from s3, e3 and Streep doesn't say it “You need a showstopper. That’s how musicals make money. A song so irresistible its like a syringe that shoots from Broadway straight into the neck of Debbie from Duluth. Who becomes an addict from the first second she hears it during girl’s night out at the Calorie Pit. And an addict will do anything. Anything. To get her fix. Even if she has to take a middle seat on a red eye to New York City, where for the low, low price of everything she’s got, Debbie can have the privilege of sitting in the finest rear balcony seat in all the land to finally, finally see that show with that song she can’t stop belting out all over fucking Duluth. So. Do you have anything that good. Do you have a showstopper?”

Streep MIA in E4....I'm expecting her to dominate E5 because you ain't gonna win that Emmy skipping episodes Queen.........quite funny without her - but it took Andrea Martin AND Tina Fey to do it......

Excellent episode 5 with Streep stealing the show - again - but everythng meshing well with a lot of in jokes and goofy word play - I particularly like "Plexi-Glass".......I mean "Sexy-Glass" 3 love stories but only hers has bad cooking, her way with profanity - "you fncking pig", her sweetness, her really small apartment and remembrances of when she was young.....and her wonderful weed smoking Also they are setting up a big scene for her that she is going to (no pun) kill..... Give her the Emmy ffs.....

S3, e6 No Streep ..........sigh........but lots of funny theater in-jokes - a random funny Hugh Jackman line that I laughed at .........a great visual with a rat ............and this piece of glorious (fake) absurdist cursed theater "history": In 1919, Gideon Goosebury was a rising star on the Great White Way. But on opening night, playing the lovesick chimney sweep in Ashes to Ashes, a 300-pound sandbag came loose from the rafters and brained him in the middle of his second-act monologue.
There was the cholera outbreak that tore through the company of Hamlet in 1949, and John Gielgud's crippling shingles attack during The Iceman Cometh revival in '88............

s3, e7No Streep - AGAIN, wtf! Some riotous one liners though - again (wtf!) - including a positively hilarious throwaway bit about "stress dancing" and a few I'm paraphrasing - "You were too old to play Ferris, you were 41"........"No one cares how the constable from Nova Scotio fingered his mandolin" (I think that was the line!?! ) and the most pacinoyes piece of dialog imaginable: "Did you apologize?"..........."Fnck no, what did I do?"Side note: Huge clue/lead just ignored - not fully followed up on (yet) by Steve Martin ....how do you expect to solve this case, pal - tine matters yanno?.........ah well, that's episode 8 I guess .......

s3, e8A comic / dramatic / (and another!) singing! tour de force by Meryl Fncking Streep - the best ever to do it in America - oh it's true......it's damn true.....and the full Steve Martin patter song which is hilarious and rhymes neo-natal with fatal ......... Who is gonna deny Streep her Emmy? She's even great acting her narration

This song - "the patter song" ^ is amazing in its full form .........not the same as seeing Martin perform this - which is a riot - but just the song itself is remarkably complex

The Broderick line from ep 7 is seriously underrated and hilarious.
Paraphrasing …”I research all my roles. For War Games I learned how to code. When I did Election I started teaching high school history and sleeping with students”

s3, e9Marvelously droll, zippy fun and this time the MVP is........Paul Rudd and the 5 Whores Also someone needs to talk about wardrobe because Gomez looked adorable in her pink top and black pants and wrestling sneakers (um) and lovely as a bride.....I also liked Streep's green hat and orange prison garb and Short's scarves!

hmmm I'm really starting to distrust myself because I finally got back into S2 yesterday and binged like 4 eps straight. Very cozy and easy to watch with some really great zingers peppered throughout. I'm chuckling A LOT (more than I remember doing w/ S1) and overall enjoying it much more than the first season. Maybe I had a headache when I watched last December. I remember Martin being cheesy and bland (not the case), and Gomez being really wooden (also not the case, her deadpan shtick is enjoyable).
something similar happened with Barry. Hated the first three eps of that show but by ep 4 everything clicked and it became one of my favorites... weird. I'm looking forward to finishing up S2 and then diving into S3. I'm glad I gave it another chance.
