MASTER
FUCKING
PIECE.
Storywise it's like Tarkovsky's The Mirror where it's just a bunch of memories and thoughts right before he dies. Not a cohesive story like his other albums but still so beautifully structured. My man dropped another gorgeous piece of work and I really hope the rumors of a second album are true.

Great album. DNA and Humble go fucking hard. There's a lot of message about lust and love. MASTER FUCKING PIECE. My man dropped another gorgeous piece of work and I really hope the rumors of a second album are true. Apparently the second album rumors are false, unfortunately.

Yeah I figure they are, so many people are 100% certain that it's true and I don't get it.

The songs "Fear" and "Duckworth" are standouts for me. I like the way he plays around with narrative.
Kendrick is what hip hop needs right now! He's just different.

I could never really get into To Pimp a Butterfly, but I'm obsessed with this album and can't stop listening to it. I really love "DNA", "Feel", "Lust", "XXX", "Fear", and "Duckworth".

This is way better than To Pimp A Butterfly, I think. I don't care for the song with Rihanna, but aside from that particular track, Damn is getting a lot of replay. I'm obsessed with the song "Fear" especially. I like Kendrick best when he's moody and introspective.

I've only been listening to hip hop (not very seriously) for about two years, and his music has always been inaccessible to me. I just can't get into it, and on first listen, DAMN didn't really change that. I'll need to try again at some point.

His videos are always fascinating. But speaking of that song ^, I love that he used audio of Geraldo Rivera's dumbass. I figured he would do that. I don't know why Rivera was coming at Kendrick of all people. Kendrick is good for the culture. If you want to go at a rapper for being bad for the community, go at one of those Bobby Schmurda or Troy Ave types, not Kendrick! lol.

Well he does say here that he has some more music coming. But who knows when that could be? BTW doesn't he seem so down-to-earth and shy for a rap superstar? (Edit) Wait he tweeted this: "KenFolk. ThankU 4 the desire of always anticipating new music of my own. None is coming. My work will be in our future TDE dates tho." He's playing with us! BTW I didn't know Kendrick fans are called KenFolk?

I loved To Pimp a Butterfly, but this is above and beyond that. Kanye's got some competition at the top of the mountain.

I prefer both Good Kid and To Pimp A Butterfly over this, but it's a pretty solid album. I don't think as highly of Kendrick as a lot of rap fans do (although I do like him).
