Which one do you prefer the most? Mine are Black Swan vs Dexter, but I'm gonna with the film.

My favorite show really depends on the day, but none of them can beat A Clockwork Orange

Hmm, Mad Men vs Mulholland Drive. Gotta go with the former, though obviously I adore both of them.

Sort of an unreasonable comparison, as it's a 60 episode TV show vs a 2.5 hour film, but I've gone with the TV show, which is The Wire.

Mulholland Dr. Vs Friends? That's such an odd comparison. Friends, I suppose.

Having a hard time comparing Pulp Fiction and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Well, I suppose they both featured Phil LaMarr.

I doubt my favorite film, The Godfather (I know original) could top the greatest TV show ever. Right now, it's Twilight Zone, but fucking hell, most of my top 100 is better than my favorite TV shows ever so yeah.
If you asked my my favorite film vs my favorite album (Dark Side of the Moon, and again, I know original), it would pretty much be tie there I guess since I equally have my passion for film and music. I want to get into TV shows (amongst others) now, but there's no way I'd say my biggest interests would be something else other than film and music.

Having a hard time comparing Pulp Fiction and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Well, I suppose they both featured Phil LaMarr. I'm not sure if a one small role in an episode counts as the same. And why Fresh Prince? I love the show as much as others, but I would never regard as my favorites unless it's nostalgic TV shows we grew up with.

Adore The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is my Bible.

He'll articulate the shit out of it.

Just speaking for myself, but the show holds up ridiculously well. The way the ensemble gels together, the humor, the genuinely effective moments of drama, its ability to handle some fairly complex issues especially with regard to race, pretty much everything I could want in a show all in one package. Really, aside from the clothes and some infrequent references, I'd say the show is less '90s than other major sitcoms of that period like Friends or Seinfeld (not that there's a problem with that, I actually really love the latter).

And going on the drama and complex issues, I love how despite it's big style of comedy, it was never afraid to get serious and then fade to black and end on a down note. And they knew exactly when to do it too. There's stuff like Will's dad, Carlton's OD, Phil's "When are we gonna stop doing this to each other?" after Will and Carlton get arrested, etc. that go like that. Then there are moments like (my personal favorite in the series) the moment Will suggests Phil put his money where his mouth is in regards to judging people by playing Fur Elise on the piano, which was a powerful moment not remotely brought down by the fact that the scene following it ended the episode on a joke.

Love Exposure vs Twin Peaks
Would have to go with Twin Peaks. Not sure I like any work of fiction better.
