Yeah I'm not sure what the consensus is on the time jump, but I thought that was just masterfully done. What a heartbreaking episode.

See how this show sticks the last few episodes, but it can be argued this is probably the best spinoff TV show ever. Back to back all-timer episodes with Point and Shoot, and now Fun and Games. The scene with Gus at the bar is aces.

The scene with Gus at the bar is aces. For the longest time Frasier held the "greatest spinoff" crown, but you gotta think Vince and Peter know exactly how to stick the landing. Also, Emmy voters better have seen what Rhea Seehorn did this most recent episode when they vote for her (yes, I know this season isn't eligible but it can't hurt).

Yeah there's definitely a debate to be had there. Seehorn is giving an all-timer TV performance/character with Kim Wexler. I'm amazed she just got her first Emmy nom for this a few days ago. It seems across the board the Television Academy hasn't fallen in love with this show like its predecessor Breaking Bad as far as awards acclaim. Mando, Dalton. and Banks should've been nominated as well considering they're handing out 3-4 nominations in supporting categories to shows like The White Lotus and Ted Lasso.

I had no idea what to expect for this week's ep, but a Cinnabon-laden mall heist in black-and-white featuring Carol Burnett in a motor scooter wasn't it... but I am goddamn glad for it.

I kept thinking, "This flashforward sure is going on for quite a while now," until I realized that it might last the whole episode. And then it ended! It was really good. Honestly, I feel like Gene Takavic could have his own spin off

This episode was well done but it kind of bummed me out. I was worried about Walt and Jesse showing up but they integrated it perfectly. The opening scene put a smile on my face. I never thought Jimmy/Saul was that bad of a guy so I was kind of hoping for a semi-happy ending but it doesn't look like we are going to get it. Gene broke bad.

"Should've just let me drive YO" I gotta say, I had serious doubts about how they'd implement Cranston and Paul into this, considering the near-decade gap (and how rough some of the El Camino aging looked), but Cranston looked perfect and Paul still has Jesse on lock. I miss the hell out of those boys. Man, I'm gonna need to rewatch Breaking Bad again.

I miss the hell out of those boys. Man, I'm gonna need to rewatch Breaking Bad again. I know what you mean. I’ve seen some YouTube reaction videos of people watching the episode and when Walt and Jesse appear they get giddy. They’re an iconic tv duo, so much so that they received statues in Albuquerque, it’s crazy how much these two shows have meant to that city. I thought they integrated them well, give them a nice 5 minute cameo scene that delves into Saul’s interest in wanting to do business with them. Cranston and Paul fit right in their characters. I heard initially Cranston was giving takes as season 5 Walt/Heisenberg and after some instructions that this needed to be season 2 Walt, he got right back into the anxious, unsure Walt of that time. I see people complaining about Paul obviously aging since BB season 2, but I thought they did great trying to hide it with the lighting. I mean of course he’s aged, he’s in his 40s now and definitely cheaper than trying to use de-age technology on them for a 5-minute scene. Being the youngest his aging was always going to be the most noticeable.

Hell, throw Dalton in there as well. (Hell, put up a golden Port-a-Potty where people can take a shit on Chuck's head.)

What do you guys think is going to be BCS' 'Baby Blue'? Personally, I couldn't think of something more fitting than this Warren Zevon song. It's just the right level of tongue-in-cheek and bittersweet to bookmark the show and encapsulate Jimmy's character.

My expectations for this show when it was announced and then began in 2015 was that it would be a nice spinoff with plenty of fan service with the popular Saul Goodman character. What a masterpiece this show has turned out to be.
