Here's mine:
Picture - Nomadland. Won the PGA and DGA, and scored acting, writing, directing, and editing nominations.
Director - Chloe Zhao. Won the DGA award and the movie is my pick for who will win Best Picture.
Actor - Chadwick Boseman. Won the SAG and a career-ending performance.
Actress - Viola Davis. Really tough one. I went back and forth between all of them. Day, McDormand, and Mulligan all have a great shot at winning. We're either going to see a tie here or somebody winning by one or two votes. I like Davis here the best, because she plays a real-life person and undergoes a complete body transformation in a movie they have definitely seen.
Supporting Actor - Daniel Kaluuya. Easy call. He won the SAG and plays a real-life historic and tragic figure.
Supporting Actress - Yuh-Jung Youn. She won the SAG and attached to a Best Picture contender.
Adapted Screenplay - Chloe Zhao. Picture and Screenplay typically go together, especially since the Oscars expanded their Best Picture category.
Original Screenplay - Emerald Fennell. Best Picture nominee and won the WGA.
Film Editing - The Sound of Metal. The Best Film Editing and Best Sound streak continues.
The Shorts - Two Distant Strangers, If Anything Happens I Love You, and A Love Song for Latasha
Final Count:
Nomadland - 4 wins for picture, director, adapted screenplay, and cinematography Ma Rainey's Black Bottom - 4 wins for actor, actress, make-up, and costume design Sound of Metal - 2 wins for editing and sound Soul - 2 wins for animated feature and score Promising Young Woman - original screenplay Minari - supporting actress Judas and the Black Messiah - supporting actor Mank - art direction
Tenet - visual effects One Night in Miami - song
Another Round - international feature My October Teacher - documentary (hoping for Crip Camp)

Best Picture: I've been on the Nomadland train since Venice and I ain't getting off now.
Best Director: Come on.
Best Actor: Hopkins could very well upset, but I think Boseman's still winning. However, I think that the margin of votes (if tabulated) would be much thinner than expected.
Best Actress: Seems to be the diciest category going into the night, but I'm sticking to my guns: it's Carey's night.
Best Supporting Actor: Daniel Kaluuya, Judas and the Black Messiah.
Best Supporting Actress: Youn Yuh-jung, Minari. Bakalova needed BAFTA to put up more of a fight, but SAG + BAFTA on Youn's side solidified it. Plus it's a win for Minari.
Best Original Screenplay: Promising Young Woman's got this.
Best Adapted Screenplay: I really feel like The Father will snatch this one from Zhao's hands at the last second. It also feels like a place they can safely recognize a film they clearly liked if they don't feel bold enough to vote for Hopkins.
Best International Feature: Another Round. (EDIT: I left this category off in my first post.)
Best Documentary Feature: My Octopus Lover Teacher.
Best Animated Feature: Wish it were Wolfwalkers, but you can't stop the Pixar train, especially for a film as good as Soul.
Best Live-Action Short: The Present feels like a stealth spoiler over the louder picks. I'll go with that.
Best Animated Short: If Anything Happens, I Love You.
Best Documentary (Short Subject): Do Not Split.
Best Cinematography: Nomadland. Don't be fooled by ASC.
Best Production Design: Mank had this locked from the start. Probably the second-biggest lock of the night behind Chloe.
Best Costume Design: Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.
Best Makeup & Hairstyling: It should be Pinocchio, but Ma Rainey's got this as well.
Best Visual Effects: Tenet feels like a safe bet, but I wouldn't be shocked by a Midnight Sky upset.
Best Film Editing: The ACE/BAFTA split really has me turned around. Stupid rationale incoming: I feel like if there were two sound categories, Sound of Metal would lead here, but I feel like with it only having the one, I'm leaning toward Trial. Feels like the one place they can reward it, plus it's flashier.
Best Sound: Sound of Metal, duh.
Best Score: Soul, also duh.
Best Song: While I really think "Husavik" is in with a very strong shot and they are campaigning it hard (and it helps that it's the best song of the lot), I think it'll still be "Speak Now" from One Night in Miami.

Director: Zhao
Actor: Boseman, tho Hopkins could upset def (wish a tie would happen here lol they both deserve it)

S Actor: Kaluuya, tho honestly (and unfortunately) I won't be shocked with a Cohen upset like idk Daniel doesn't feel as in stone to me as it shows esp with Stanfield there, tho like I'm def predicting Kaluuya
S. Actress: Youn
O Screenplay: Promising Young Woman, tho Trial could upset
A Screenplay: The Father, with Nomadland not far behind

Picture - Nomadland
Director - Chloe Zhao
Actor - Chadwick Boseman I think it will be close, but Boseman will end up winning,
Actress - Viola Davis I honestly have no clue. I wouldn’t even be surprised if Kirby won in the end because of how crazy the year has been. Went with Davis though because she won SAG, and it seems like she’s been very visible during the voting period for the winners.
Supporting Actor - Daniel Kaluuya
Supporting Actress - Youn Yuh-jung
Adapted Screenplay - Chloe Zhao Could be The Father, but I think when Birdman won even though people thought there might be a split that they’ll just vote for the Best Picture winner in most categories.
Original Screenplay - Emerald Fennell
Film Editing - Sound of Metal
Cinematography - Nomadland

Actor: Boseman, tho Hopkins could upset def (wish a tie would happen here lol they both deserve it) Oh god, I couldn't agree more. Hopkins is my favourite nominee and yet Boseman was amazing as well, plus this is unfortunately the only opportunity he'll have for a win. I am also hoping for a tie since both of them genuinely deserve to win.

Adapted Screenplay - Chloe Zhao Could be The Father, but I think when Birdman won even though people thought there might be a split that they’ll just vote for the Best Picture winner in most categories. Back in 2015 (2014 Oscars), I went with Birdman for picture, director and original screenplay under my "at least 2 major wins" rule. Most of the time, when a film wins best picture, it takes home at least 2 major Oscars.
2020 - Parasite won picture, director, original screenplay 2019 - Green Book won picture, supporting actor, original screenplay 2017 - Moonlight won picture, supporting actor, adapted screenplay 2015 - Birdman won picture, director, original screenplay 2014 - 12 Years A Slave won picture, supporting actress, adapted screenplay 2013 - Argo won picture, original screenplay, film editing 2012 - The Artist won picture, director, actor 2011 - King's Speech won picture, director, original screenplay, and actor 2010 - Hurt Locker won picture, director, original screenplay, editing
I think Nomadland's second biggest major win appears to be screenplay rather than editing (Chicago 7 or Sound of Metal) and actress (could go to any of those four).

Picture: Nomadland Director: Chloé Zhao Actor: Chadwick Boseman, tempted to get on the Hopkins train... Actress: Carey Mulligan (cheers to who get this right ) Supporting Actor: Kaluuya Supporting Actress: Youn Yuh-jung. I love this win because I saw her in a couple of Hong Sang-soo movies the past year and now she's here. Original Screenplay: Promising Young Woman Adapted Screenplay: The Father Cinematography: Nomadland Editing: The Trial of the Chicago 7 Production Design: Mank Costume Design: Ma Rainey's Black Bottom ( should be Emma though) Make-up & Hairstyling: Ma Rainey's Black Bottom ( should be Pinocchio, so unfair ) Sound of Metal Song: One Night in Miami Score: Soul VFX: Tenet ( would be cool to see Love and Monsters get this one ) International Film: Another Round ( unfortunately the best film nominated this year in any category will go empty handed: Quo Vadis, Aida ? ) Documentary: My Octopus Fetishism
Can Netflix actually get the three short wins ? Don't think so... Documentary Short: Colette Live Action Short: Two Distant Strangers ( a quick twitter exchange adapted to the big screen ) would be the worst win of the night, if only White Eye had the same exposure.... Animated Short: If Anything Happens I Love You

This is the most unpredictable race I've. Only director and maybe sound feels 100% locked to me, so I will be a bit bold, especially in the leading categories but what the hell. Picture: Nomadland (Upset: Trial of Chicago 7 ) Director: Chloe Zhao (Upset: c'mon.) Actor: Anthony Hopkins, The Father. I reckon it's incredibly close, I do think Boseman probably wins but I'm gonna throw Anthony a bone. Actress: Carey Mulligan, Promising Young Woman. Another insanely close race, Viola Davis is #2, but realistically any of the 5 could win, Kirby less likely than the others but would be pure chaos. Supporting Actor: Daniel Kaluuya, Judas and the Black Messiah (Upset: Sacha Baron Cohen) Supporting Actress: Youn Yuh-jung, Minari. (Upset: Glenn Close ) Original Screenplay: Promising Young Woman (Upset: Trial of Chicago 7) Adapted Screenplay: The Father (Upset: Nomadland) Editing: Sound of Metal (Upset: The Father) Sound: Sound of Metal Cinematography: Nomadland (Upset: Mank) Original Score: Soul Original Song: Speak Now (Upset: HúsavíkI Animated Feature: Soul Production Design: Mank Costume Design: Ma Rainey's Black Bottom Makeup and Hairstyling: Ma Rainey's Black Bottom Visual Effects: Tenet Foreign Language Picture: Another Round Documentary: My Octopus Teacher
