The nominees: The Father ~ Yorgos Lamprinos Nomadland ~ Chloé Zhao Promising Young Woman ~ Frédéric Thoraval Sound of Metal ~ Mikkel E.G. Nielsen The Trial of the Chicago 7 ~ Alan Baumgarten
Alan Baumgarten won the Critics Choice and ACE. Mikkel E.G. Nielsen took home the Critics Choice and BAFTA.
Since 2013, Best Sound (Editing or Mixed) and Best Film Editing have gone to the same picture.
Since 1999, the ACE and Oscar have lined up 15 out of 21 times.
1942'a Pride of the Yankees was the last time a Best Picture nominee just won Best Film Editing.

Probably Nielsen, due to the sound correlation, but Baumgarten, or a dark horse (maybe Lamprinos) do seem possible.

More = better with these people. Betting on Baumgarten.
