Across all these awards shows, I still haven't laughed once at a Schitt's Creek clip.

Wow, the irony of Riz Ahmed's sound cutting out to Diggs while talking about playing a deaf character

Let's fucking go Carey. Was worried BFCA was going to overreact and jump on the Day bandwagon.

Interesting to see that BFCA didn't immediately course-correct in the wake of the Globes.

I switched at 8:00 to watch the big Interview, but I would see updates during commercials.
Nomadland continues its run. It doesn’t necessarily mean much since Critics Choice aren’t industry awards, but I still feel like The Trial of the Chicago 7 has still been underperforming to this point. Kaluuya still looks to be on a path to sweep, and it even lost Original Screenplay here. It did win Best Cast, but I agree with Stephen that I’m not so sure about that happening at SAG Ensemble even if it has the most well known and biggest cast because of how sensitive SAG has been about race compared to other award shows.
Still unclear about Best Actress. I said last week that I could see Mulligan bouncing back and winning BAFTA, and then going onto to win the Oscar, but Day has got the role. All she needed was to be nominated, and she likely will after the big boost she got last week. Really surprised that the BFCA didn't have a tie between them in Best Actress lol, and a tie where everyone wins in Best Supporting Actress so they could have covered up all their bases lol.
