If Candice Bergen is able to sneak in anywhere for Let Them All Talk, it will be here, don't you think?

I have no clue how the HFPA is going to vote this year. As long as Lindo gets in, I'm happy.

If Candice Bergen is able to sneak in anywhere for Let Them All Talk, it will be here, don't you think? I can squint and make her out as a random SAG nominee, but I feel like Supporting Actress is such a crapshoot this year. Seyfried and Colman feel secure enough, Youn probably has enough muscle to get in here because of the HFPA controversy surrounding Minari that I think will force them to overcompensate and recognize it where they otherwise wouldn't, but Bakalova's running lead here and I think that opens the door for them to fall back on who the biggest name is for the remaining spots. That's why I went with Kidman and Close, as they fit the bill for what the Globes typically go for here. Burstyn I probably should have ahead of Kidman at least, but I can't see her getting in without Kirby, and I feel Kirby could miss for a bigger name like Winslet. Bergen is in the running, but depending how hard they go for Judas and the Black Messiah and News of the World, I might look at Fishback and Zengel as being stronger contenders at this stage. But I'm also predicting them to blank Let Them All Talk completely, so who knows?

There will definitely be some big surprises tomorrow, here's what I'm hoping/guessing, bolding my hottest takes:
Picture - Drama: Trial, Nomadland, 5 Bloods, Ma Rainey, Mank Picture - Comedy: Hamilton, Borat, Prom, Palm Springs, Let Them All Talk Director: Zhao, Fincher, Lee, Chung, King Screenplay: Trial, Mank, Minari, Nomadland, Promising Young Woman
Drama Actor: Boseman, Lindo, Hopkins, Ahmed, Yeun Drama Actress: Davis, McDormand, Kirby, Mulligan, Zendaya Comedy Actor: Baron Cohen, Odom Jr, Miranda, Samberg, Corden (GoldDerby didn't list Murray as an option?) Comedy Actress: Bakalova, Streep, Pfeiffer, Milioti, Jones Supporting Actor: Odom Jr, Kaluuya, Raci, Diggs, Rylance Supporting Actress: Seyfried, Colman, Youn, Burstyn, Goldsberry
Hoping for Hamilton to hit big, and would love to see Corden slip into a barren field just for the sake of the internet drama. Really hoping Baron Cohen misses in Supporting Actor- I think that is the category where tomorrow we will start to get a better sense of who the real contenders may turn out to be

Praying that Meryl Streep makes it in here. Her absence so far this awards season has been concerning.
Also can’t wait for Black is King to show up in best musical/comedy
