I mean, I don't think either one is going to be completely over, but LaBeouf's issues are far easier to explain to the general public than whatever the fuck Hammer's been up to.

LaBeouf, of course. A lawsuit involving accusations of brutal violence, sexual abuse and emotional terror seems like a bigger deal than texts about weird fucking fetishes. Unless someone comes forward with a direct accusation of something horrific towards Hammer. I know there's that text in which the women writes about finding the experience rough but I dunno how much exposure a text is going to get in Hollywood as opposed to a full-on lawsuit with people supporting the victim all over the place in trades and such. Unless more accusations are coming towards Hammer, I feel that he's gonna lay quiet for a while and then probably come back to projects with side-eyeing from colleagues as punishment. I can't quite see any actors or especially actresses wanting to work with LaBeouf after the story about him.

Well I think there are different levels. LaBeouf could be said to be in worse shape because we pretty much 100% know the allegations are true. But it's the kind of thing where he could do a "OMG I went to rehab" PR tour in 5 years and make another comeback. If the Hammer stuff is true then he's done. There's just no way people are going to be able to get past him eating human flesh if he did it and the texts make it sound like he raped someone too.

Hammer is Mel Gibson and Laboeuf is Stephen Collins.
One thing is talking about canabalism and other is practice, he could be just a dirty mouth guy, who also loves kinki sex, probably a sadomasoquist. I don't think is 100% literally, just a sexual role.-

Armie Hammer thing looks right now more like more a rich boy fetich than a pizza gate thing. Until they don't found the body, there isn't a crime.-
Laboeuf issue is rape, not just rape, but he rape (or sexual abuse) the powerful songwritter and singer Sia.-
Not only but also Hammer family is powerful and rich, while Laboeuf is just a former child actor, who started his career because of their parent financial problems. So he is more over.-

I think because Shia is considered the better actor,by some distance,he has the better chance to revive his career in the long run.Frankly though,I don't think it looks good for either of them.No one in their right mind will want to be associated with Hammer and his sick behaviour,and I think it will take a loooong time for anyone to want to work with Laboeuf again.

I'm not a cruel man either... we'll have some human flavored astronaut food for Armie and a punching back shaped like a woman for Shia... they'll be happy and I'll never have to see either of them in a movie.

Sadly I think stephen is right in that neither one will probably be completely over knowing the industry and because they’re white cis men. I agree though that it’s probably LaBeouf because there’s more evidence there, and the victims are a lot more high profile. Unfortunately with Hammer, and something I’ve already witnessed, the general public will either not be aware/not care about gossip, or they’ll dismiss it that the women knew what they were in for with Hammer and/or it really wasn’t what it seems like, but now the women are pissed he dumped them/fooled them/etc. and just wanted to hurt him. I agree that all Hammer needs to do is just lay low for awhile and go to rehab, and he can come back in a few years. I don’t think he’ll ever reach the true A-List, but I could see him returning to the niche that he’s at now. |

Well, Hammer has just been dropped by WME, one of the most powerful agencies in the industry, so this may end up being a closer run thing than perhaps the poll results currently suggest.

Yikes, what the heck did Armie do? He has allegedly physically and mentally abused some ex-girlfriends / mistresses. They claim that they were coerced into having rough and violent sex with him.One of them even had a mental breakdown and is still suffering from PTSD. |
