Apparently from what I read on another board, these are just more or less publicity awards bought by studios along the lines of the Hollywood Film Awards.Supposedly Harvey Weinstein used to buy a lot of awards for his films from these lot. Don't think these should really count towards anything in the precursor tally (I ignore the Hollywood Film Awards as well). Random that they call themselves the Capri Hollywood Awards as well, since they are based in Italy. |

I read it was just another Hollywood Film Awards type deal on another board about 5 minutes before I saw it here, and relayed that. It ain't that deep. I actually would say the same thing if Lindo won something like the Hollywood Film Awards (Which is very possible he might), because I know it's a nonsense that doesn't need to be counted towards his tally. |
