Putting this in Acting to differentiate from just "movie scenes you like" - looking for specifically acted scenes. This is going to come as no surprise but for me, these are from 2 I've already praised a lot - in fact the 2 best performances by anyone I've seen so far in 2020 movies (that includes heavy hitters Boseman, Ahmed, Lindo too, haven't seen Nomadland or The Father but thanx4asking): 1. Saint Maud which played festivals in 2019 but I consider 2020 and it is still my number 1. Morfydd Clark in a span of about a minute or so goes from sexy, assured and predatory with one character to sad, uncertain and helpless with a different group of characters when she (sort of) at first insinuates herself into their socializing and then is frozen out of not just their conversation but any sense of safety or community. This is one of the great acted scenes ever of an unstoppable encroaching madness and a scene that many would miss completely since the movie has several more overt and showy scenes. This sequence ranks with Adjani in Possession or Story of Adele H and Rowlands in A Woman Under The Influence. 2. Azura Skye in The Swerve - the year's most underrated (or little seen) great performance with a final scene that is a marvel of what an actor can convey in body language, physical expression/appearance all while projecting a deep, troubling anxiety and dread.

Paul Raci's last scene in Sound of Metal, where he speaks to Ahmed at the table, is the first one to come to mind. Raci's subtle, honest power tore my heart into a million pieces in that moment.

The seduction scene in Fanny Lye Deliver'd, for both Maxine Peake and Charles Dance. To see Peake's sexual awakening contrasted against Dance's puritanical rage is something to behold.

In no particular order:
Everyone during the family dinner, Jessie Buckley's Kael impersonation, and Jessie Plemmons listing off trite positive cliches with increasing despair - I'm Thinking of Ending Things Morfydd Clark on the phone to her friend in a mad panic - Saint Maud Paul Raci's heartbreaking final scene - Sound of Metal Elisabeth Moss in the restaurant - The Invisible Man Delroy Lindo's big monologue - Da 5 Bloods Jude Law and Carrie Coon's major argument - The Nest Every time Hugh Grant opens his mouth - The Gentlemen

Chadwick Boseman talking about his mom getting raped and the "god" scene in Ma Rainey.
Pretty much any of Lindo's big rants in Da 5 Bloods. Such a powerhouse of a performance it's hard to narrow it down.

Boseman talking about his mother, Lindo in his monologue and Hugh Grant's first ~15 mins in The Gentlemen is the first ones I can remember.

I love so many of the scenes already mentioned, but I do feel that Candice Bergen requesting a sports massage in Let Them All Talk deserves to be singled out for special praise.
