This short clip is the most illuminating thing about acting I've ever seen or read:

This is also very good, especially the last bit about crying:

This is one of many clips available (44 part) of Christopher Plummer talking about acting. Really interesting and fascinating stuff that I would recommend.

How come it's the actresses and not the actors who talk most interestingly about acting these days? (except for vanilla wafer cookie Ethan Hawke who talks it better than he walks it tbh)
Lady Gaga talking using Method technique and getting inspired by animals, Dunst talking about spinning in circles to appear tipsy or holding ice cubes in TPoTD to feel "off" before playing piano ..........and now the actress of 2022 (it's early, I know).........Julia Garner talking about how she gets inspiration from Mike Tyson and Caravaggio images to get to the place she needs to be for that level of raging awesomeness....kind of fascinating ......love her as Ruth......

Two pretty great ones - the Pacino one I had never seen in it entirety (wtf) - questions in French but you get it when he answers in English; the DDL one is with Richard Brown who is the interviewer on Pacino's "Babbleonia" dvd - which is awesome - and where Pacino praises Vanessa Redgrave that I always talk about. Brown is very skilled at stepping aside and letting actors talk about themselves .....
Good stuff.
