Totally forgot about this. Kudos urbanpatrician You have shown so much patience. - Glad Dracula made into the list. I'm one of the four who voted for it and I want to know who put it at no.1 on their ballot. - Naked is way too low. - Happy that Saving Private Ryan made into top 25. - Didn't expect Jurassic Park to be that high. Pleasantly surprised. - Eyes Wide Shut in top 10? i did not see that coming. - Followed by a fantastic 6-9 - I was not big on Lambs in first viewing but in every re-watch my liking for it only increased. - Yeah of course, Goodfellas tops the list. Pretty great top 10 actually minus Eyes Wide Shut.

Overall, not too bad of a list. The usual suspects (excuse the pun), but at least Goodfellas feels like a more fitting #1 than Pulp and especially more than Fargo (which always surprises me seeing it so high considering how lukewarm I am to it compared to other Coens films), even if Goodfellas personally wouldn't make my top 50 for the decade, it's hard to deny its brilliance and staying power. Mainly just happy to see Se7en in the top ten which was higher than I expected considering I always seem to be in the minority on considering that Fincher's best, and happy that Eyes Wide Shut, The Truman Show, and Before Sunrise made the top 20 although I wish the latter was higher. As for my personal list, here's what made the cut and missed for me: 01. Se7en (1995). 02. Before Sunrise (1995). 03. Good Will Hunting (1997). 04. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992). 05. Army of Darkness (1993). 06. The Silence of the Lambs (1991). 07. Bottle Rocket (1996). 08. Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995). 09. Saving Private Ryan (1998). 10. The Game (1997). 11. The Truman Show (1998). 12. Eyes Wide Shut (1999). 13. A River Runs Through It (1992). 14. Pulp Fiction (1994). 15. Ringu (1998). 16. L.A. Confidential (1997). 17. JFK (1991). 18. Funny Games (1997). 19. Speed (1994). 20. Fight Club (1999). 21. The Sixth Sense (1999). 22. To Die For (1995). 23. Magnolia (1999). 24. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). 25. eXistenZ (1999).Thanks again urbanpatrician for taking the time to do this!

Sucks that I wasn't here for the presentation, I'm only through half of it but I like what you did - little urban patrician insights - and I'm particularly glad that something like Only Yesterday and Underground are on the list ...

#20
JFK (Oliver Stone, 1991) urbanpatrician says: Used to think highly of it, but last rewatch took it down. Sure... it's a barrage of info, and that's the type of movie I like, but eh... I don't know. I guess it's nice research by Stone, but I guess that's my problem. The Insider went totally behind the doors and unraveled some hideous truths, I guess I didn't see JFK that way. 208 points. 16 ballots. Highest placing #3 (on 1 person's list) overated
