I love camp because the enemy of acting is "naturalism" (it's also the hero of it ) so camp is a friend to all of us. It's often misunderstood imo as merely big or OTT which it's more than just that, The best camp performances are the ones written as camp though to start with......if the actor goes against the grain and is campy it usually is just bad ......sometimes that can work - Joan Crawford in Straight-Jacket (1964) is one....but that happens less often.
All of these have camp on the page and are great performances, not merely great camp ......but I'd describe them as great camp too.
Vincent Price in Theatre of Blood Isabelle Huppert in Greta Kathy Bates in Misery Al Pacino in Devils Advocate

Vincent Price in any of his campy roles.
And no matter what you say about "Batman & Robin", I think Uma Thurman is delightfully entertaining in it.

Anthony Wong in Ebola Syndrome is among the greatest performances of all time and definitely falls into the "campy" category. Also John Abbey in Mr. Freedom.

I'm still not sure what campy means, but Tim Curry in The Three Musketeers.

I'm still not sure what campy means, but Tim Curry in The Three Musketeers. In the style of camp : absurdly exaggerated, artificial, or affected in a usually humorous way

Fiona Shaw took hagsploitation to a whole 'nother level in The Black Dahlia and it is endlessly delightful to me. Bette and Joan and Faye could fucking never.

I don't think (?) it gets campier than Vincent Price in Theatre of Blood but campy in a way that's 100% in on the joke and pushing it to its freaking limits. Slaughtering the critics who snub you for their critics circle award is the definition of extra, especially when you do it in such creative ways and in such dramatic outfits! Legendary performance.
