Pretty sure they were just shown the prologue that was in front of Rogue One but still hyped!!! Good to see critics are reacting well to it.

But out of all of the prologues Nolan has put out, this was the best one and it's utterly fantastic -- the suspense on such a large scale is unbelievable.

I'm glad that the TV spots seem to be marketing the movie now as more of a suspense/action thriller than a straight-down-the-middle war movie. Interesting choice to include the Churchill speech as voiceover by one of the characters. Also, this shot is chilling:

Still have no winning vibes from this, but the marketing has greatly improved since the last, meek trailer

Still have no winning vibes from this, but the marketing has greatly improved since the last, meek trailer I'm thinking it's possible that we get another BP/BD split, Nolan takes Director while something like Wonderstruck or Downsizing wins Picture.

Nah, both Wonderstruck and Downsizing are two big flashy, visual, and directorial achievements to lose director but win BP (it would be like La La Land losing director but not BP)-- they'd win Director but not BP, if anything If there's a BP split, it would be something smaller or important Bigelow's Detroit or Lean on Pete

The prologue was all I needed. Watching nothing else until the actual film.

New trailer has been classifiedI know some people were underwhelmed by the last trailer, so here's hoping the new one will be more in line with the TV spots and make the film stand out more as suspense thriller than another run-of-the-mill WWII movie.
