Why are some people such monsters?
This movie went from one of the scariest to one of the most deeply depressing movies I've ever seen esp with that last 30mins. Really don't have much to say except I'm a huge mess right now. Why do such people exist? Just....disturbing.

Great film! Don't be sad... Didn't the slapstick put a smile on your face at least?

The whole film is shot beautifully with some scenes being gritty and others being peaceful.

Great film! Don't be sad... Didn't the slapstick put a smile on your face at least? It did. I really commend them for including humour in this else I don't know how I'd have handled it. But after a while, I didn't feel like I was watching a movie, felt so real and maybe it's the brilliant performances or the direction, but you actually felt like being there with those guys trying to figure out the murderer yourself. I had to pause the movie like 3 times because I found it quite difficult to take it all in and it's not like I've not seen movies like this before. I don't know, something about this one. It just felt so uneasy the whole time thinking how such stuff actually happen and what those victims must be going through and you feel so helpless just like these 2 men here. Not many movies have had such an impact on me. Proves what a great film it indeed is.

Such a great, intense and atmospheric film. I was going to say it's one of my favorites of the last few years and then realized 2008 was almost a decade ago. I've heard it makes a great double feature with Zodiac, but that would be really depressing.

Great film. Seen it way back. Quite atmospheric and brilliantly staged. Have to re-watch it again.

Any noms you give specifically. I don't think I do any noms/wins for 2003 but it's instantly become one of my favorites of all time without a doubt. My favorite aspect of it is the direction by Bong. Flawless, really. I'm still thinking about it, whoa!!

The action at the climax was a little contrived. Great movie otherwise.

It's a masterpiece. Bong Joon-ho is Hitchcock, only better. It's amazing how racist Hollywood is that they can't even realize how incredible he is.

I'm watching it right now and that jump kick was hilarious How was it? Did you like it? 😬 I did! It was very well done and the main characters were so interesting. But I didn't like it better than Se7en, though to be fair Se7en is in my top 10 of all time
