Long story short ............a crazy girl at my house just now suggested getting Papa John's today .......this was backed up by 1 other person.
I'm like Wtf there are plenty of good pizza places around that aren't chains which has somehow now turned into a discussion of which of these 4 crimes against God & Pizza is the "best" and that chain pizza is somehow inconceivably "better" than anything else...........which it is ........IF the "else" is starving to death.
Unlike the photo below - PICK one .........or not.......

Never really cared for Papa John's or Pizza Hut (aside from their breadsticks), and I don't think I've ever had Lil Caesar's..... but imo you can do much worse than Domino's. After they changed their recipe, I didn't mind them at all actually.
Pizza Hut and Papa Johns are both meh but I guess they fall into the "edible" category. Might slightly prefer Pizza Hut. Dominos is the nastiest shit. Lived near one in college and walked by it every single day and I could smell it from the outside Never had Little Caesars but its reputation is not good.
There is probably a good local pizzeria nearby virtually anywhere in America. No need to go to any of these places.
Little Caesar's Domino's Pizza Hut (huge gap) Papa John's
Caesar's is fine in a pinch but I only go for the Italian cheese bread. Domino's has really good pan pizzas -- only thing I get from there. Other two --- that's a no from me. Local joints or homemade is better than all of them.

Funny thing about Domino's: I went to one when I was visiting Puebla, Mexico because for some reason it was one of the only places that was open on the street where I was staying at the time... and the pizza was way better than any Domino's I went to in the US.
Since we're talkin' pizza, anybody got some hot takes? As much as I eat pizza (even "much" is underselling it)... I can't stand floppy pizza. If I pick it up and everything falls off what's the point! I'm also not a deep-dish guy, I've had "the best" from Chicago and was meh on it - what's the pizza-point of being all full after only one slice? One more, and these takes get hotter as they go on - this one is dangerous *checks over shoulder* - New York pizza is great but it isn't The Best.
OK I keep veering from the topic, so..... Domino's Kicker hot sauce is underrated. There.
I guess out of these Lil Caesars because it’s so cheap that it’s hard for me to criticize it. It’s like Subway having their $5 deal, and accepting that it’s probably not going to be the best sub ever.
Papa John’s used to be decent, but in the past few years at least the one nearest to me has really dropped in quality. If I’m going to a relative or friend’s house, and don’t want to go all the way to the Lil Caesars, it’s decent enough for that as long as I get to dip into the garlic butter container. I hate when I have to be nice and don’t get any because I let other people get to it first lol.
Pizza Hut used to be really good when I was younger, but I’m not sure if it really was or if it’s because I remember it being better than it was because of the experience of going into their restaurants and them being the sponsor for many schools’ reading programs. I tried it awhile back because it’s the closest to me out of all the big chains, but it sucked. I threw more than half a medium pizza a way because it tasted so bad.
Never been a Domino’s fan at all. I tried their pizza a again few years ago because their medium pizza deal seemed like a pretty good deal, and while the customer service was top notch at the store, like with Pizza Hut, I ended up throwing most of it away.
We have a chain called Donatos which is the best out of all of these imo, but they’re also pretty pricy for pizza unless you have a coupon or they have a deal. There’s also another chain called Jet’s which was good when I tried it. I got tired of it after eating it for a year every Friday, so I don’t know if it’s still good or not. They’re also sort of pricy and unlike Donatos don’t have many specials and don’t have a convenient drive up window.
The local places right around me are okay, but nothing really close that’s made me a fan of their pizza for life.

short answer is all of the above because even shitty pizza is still pizza (although I did have cafeteria pizza some years ago that proves me abjectly wrong)
If I have to be discriminatory, I'm good with either Domino's or Papa John's but I'll always defer to Domino's on price so I almost never eat the old papa's pizza (but if someone else is buying...). I remember loving Pizza Hut when I was a kid but the only branch near me turned into a shithole. Little Caesar's has never been anything but a shithole, and among all the pizza joints I've tried their pizza is by far the worst left over (and I don't normally mind leftover pizza) with bland dry crust and goopy congealed cheese so they're never a first choice even with the lower price, but I'll always eat it if I have to and by god I'm gonna like it.
Papa Johns -- solid, they give me 50% off my orders when the Vikings, Twins win -- gotta love that.
Little Caesars -- first thing I think about with them is my Grandma calling the store the day after we order and eat it to complain about how the pizza was slightly off, it's ok makes it better that it's the cheapest of the bunch. Actually, come to think about it I've never had LC's outside of a situation of visiting my G-Ma in NoDak.
Pizza Hut -- Rubber. How is this tied for the lead?
