Certified Copy . Such a layered, fascinating film that I've only seen once and desperately need to revisit. Shame it just missed the top 50, but still glad it got as high as it did.

So good to see many movies I barely cut of my ranking actually made the cut. Almost makes up for the awful Winter's Bone snub

Props to DeepArcher for a great presentation. I may not love every film so far, some I borderline dislike, but not a single bad one yet...still I know at least a handful of those are coming up.

#55 - #51 is the best bunch of films so far by a lot. All of them pretty great.

No. No it doesn't. That's the whole problem with the movie.

DeepArcher This is a fantastic presentation so far (and marry me for that Certified Copy review). Great reviews everyone! A few films I don't like at all, but that's exactly what is so great about a forum like this one. Differing opinions and debates.

Wait just a minute, who tf loves Lincoln enough to put it #1? Probably the same person who put Bridge Of Spies #2.

I found the presentation so late, so I basically had scurry along and look at the films selected. Anyway, great job so far DeepArcher . Love all the reviews, and different opinions too. That's what makes these kinds of lists so fun.

This has been an.......interesting list so far. There are some things that had better make it on the top end of the list with some of the movies that have slipped onto the lower end. In reference to Viced 's Moonrise Kingdom review I have no idea who laughs at that scene and I think that one and most Wes Anderson movies are a big laugh in general. He's got a weird fanbase. Edit to keep up with the presentation- Black Swan and 1917 making it is pretty cool. Black Swan might be about right and I'd have 1917 a little higher.

It didn't take long. I hate First Reformed and I despise Black Swan. Still, at least they ain't stinking up the Top 20. The others are very fine films.

I love that immediately following a review from Stephen, we get Black Swan which he notoriously hates.

I wish I understood what everyone sees in 1917. It's one of those things where I'm not sure how many times I want to watch it but seeing it for the first time in the theater was a spectacular experience.

1917 is a better movie than First, Reformed in the same way a date with cheap hooker is better than finding a deep connection with your soul mate is. Except finding a date with a cheap hooker is a more entertaining film than 1917....... You fncking athesists/agnostics, a plague on all your houses!
