The french illustrator and co-author of the legendary Asterix comics has died at the age of 92 years. Spend lot of times in my childhood, reading them over and over again and even latter on, as this work is really for everybody. Still the greatest comic series I've ever read. So hopefully 43 years after the death of his ingenious compagnon Rene Goscinny both are now united again in heaven.
Merci Albert!

Great contribution in the history of comic books and the French culture in general.
RIP.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo! The true end of an era. I cannot say how much time I spent reading those comics over and over again. It was never quite the same after Goscinny, but for a good decade afterward I think he still managed to make it work really well on his own.
