Just trying to take a break from the endless parade of despair that populates this board daily.......COVID-19, hand sanitizer shortages, truly awful presidential candidates, falling stock markets, the bafflement of the Ben Affleck-Ana De Armas fornication.
It's getting warmer in the US, days are longer .......maybe we can all shake hands or hug in a couple months even!........ go on a date...... kiss
Also: Topping preferences!
White chocolate raspberry truffle, pretzels, whipped cream in a cup because a cone is a disaster waiting to happen.
I'm a milkshake guy tbh. And I'm easy to please so I like going vanilla.
I'm not sure where I stand on ice cream vs. frozen yogurt since to me they're for totally different moods and contexts -- I love them both and don't really choose one over the other. That said, I've definitely had ice cream like a million more times in my life than frozen yogurt and is generally the more familiar, friendlier choice. It's a lot more comforting, froyo is like an "I'm out" special occasion-ish type thing... So I guess my answer is ice cream? Lol.
As for ice cream flavors ... again, I think a lot of my favorites are basic, but I love mint-chocolate chip, coffee, cookies and cream, anything with peanut butter cups. For more specifics, I love Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia and also Friendly's has or at least had this seasonal S'mores flavor that absolutely rules.
I'm not much of a toppings guy, but whipped cream is always welcome, and fudge can be good for something vanilla-based especially (which I generally prefer greatly to chocolate-based stuff btw).
Cones are a mess and while I like them for the novelty, bowls/cups are generally the way to go.
