Missing Link won the Globe. Toy Story 4 won the Critics Choice and Producer's Guild. Klaus won the Annie and the BAFTA. Which one wins?

Any three of those could conceivably win but I'm predicting Klaus. I Lost My Body and HTTYD are both out.

I'm leaning towards Klaus at the moment.

I didn't even know what Klaus was until I clicked on this thread so I doubt it's beating out the Disney/Pixar machine with the very establishment Oscar voters. This feels like all the people picking Parasite to win BP just because they want it to win.

I think the Disney/Pixar machine is the precise reason why Klaus is probably going to win. Voters want to see something other than a sequel win or a Pixar/Disney picture. Klaus is a very traditionally drawn picture with a lot of emotional heartstrings being pulled.

Klaus. I had faith in this from the moment I heard it existed. Just due to the fact that it’s the most artistically unique nominee would be reason enough, and it’s picking up steam at just the right time.

I don't think Toy Story 4 has that much passion behind it and the Disney/Pixar machine didn't even manage to get Frozen II nominated.

I guess it's gonna be Klaus but Toy Story will be very hard to beat.

I have no stake in this race and I wouldn't have predicted Klaus a month ago but winning the Annie and BAFTA means something, and these voters went with Spider-Verse over a Pixar sequel last year. Klaus looks to be taking a similar route where it's the smaller and/or artsier project that provoked a lot more passion. I thought it was fine personally, though I liked Toy Story a bit more.

I hope it's I Lost My Body. What a great fucking movie. I guess it's one of those were the nomination is the reward itself, but I can dream.

It would seem like it'll be Toy Story 4 or Klaus and while I wasn't crazy about Klaus, it was quite good but that's all; I would prefer it to win in terms of breaking up that Disney / Pixar dominance.
Obviously, with I Lost My Body being one of my Top 5 films of the year, I'd like to think it was in with a chance, but I really doubt it. In a just world, it would be a Best Picture nominee, but them's the breaks.

The Toy Story 4 guild run has been pretty strong but Klaus's Annie and BAFTA support makes me think that it'll take it. Plus I'm just not sure that they'll be in a rush to reward the fourth part of a very well-known franchise when there's a 'fresher' option out there that's easy to access for any voter. Although I'm not a huge fan of Klaus so I'll be happier if something else takes it.
