This is the first time I have ever given Leo a best actor win, he's my number 1 for leading performance for the year. What's your favorite scene of his in the movie? For me it's the scene with Luke Perry.

One of the reasons I felt so ripped off by the ending of OUATIH is to me it went away from one of the themes of the movie which is the nature of "Acting" what it is and what it isn't - it doesn't completely go away from that of course Tarantino knows his themes and how to integrate them but it felt that way to me watching it.
But in the (terrific) first 2/3rds with Rick, QT he has so many little touches - including the Pacino scene actually which is a crucial (and symbolic) scene imo - and that reaches its best moment in the reading scene with Julia Butters.
In that scene everything real bubbles to the surface as a child explains acting to him on a set but not acting - that scene to me was my favorite because it's distinctly removed about the stuff that happens when a camera is rolling.

The trailer scene by far.
Leo's comedy skills are great as well!!!

All his scenes on the set in the middle of the movie make the performance for me. The one with the girl, the one in the trailer, the one with Luke Perry.

Any time that Rick is acting. That's when the movie comes alive for me, and I wish that the movie had been less about the Manson/Tate/Cliff angle and more about us watching a block of retro TV for two-plus hours starring Rick Dalton in various different parts.

The trailer scene is still the best scene of the year for me.
