I watched Junebug yesterday and Nivola is totally supporting... but Adams is a bit more controversial to my mind. Still supporting, but I could see someone placing her as lead.

I mean, it has been a long time since I've seen the film but always though it was firmly Guy Pearce as the sole lead. Guess it needs a re-watch, and suppose I'll update my ballot since he was the only one of the bunch here I nominated.

Pearce is basically a symbol. Winstone is playing the character with actual development. I also think he may have even more screentime.

I still don't think a story based on a classic fairy tale with vague roots and no describable author should be considered adapted. I mean, yes it is adapted from an existing story but all stories are to one extent or another and this particular story is 100% in the public domain and has already been adapted and reinterpreted to death. It would make a difference if the film was tied to a particular published adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood but without that information I wouldn't call it adapted. The story is hundreds of years old, in the public consciousness, in the public domain, has no single identifiable author... Eh, whatever.

Quick call for sound FYCs? I always have trouble with those and haven't even begun working on the lower end of my ballot.
Every time I rewatch a movie from 2005, I find it worse than I remember, so I keep rearranging the higher categories of my ballot as well.

And songs? I have found two that don't give me cancer. "In the Deep" and "According to Plan" (which I like in spite of it being not very good).

honestly I struggled to come up with five but you can't go wrong with these: "A Love That Will Never Grow Old" (think this has been scientifically proven to cure cancer) "Travelin' Thru"
