Rank/Rate the films of Martin Scorsese

Raging Bull is a very great film that I just don't respond to - sort of like Nashville which is the same way for me - all the boxing in it wears me out and I don't care much about Jake - it's not for me but on a technical level - acting, directing, editing, cinematography it's GOAT level certainly.

Casino I don't care for at all actually though I think it's a botch, sorry.........but I just saw The Irishman for a 2nd time and the reason I rank it so high is because endings matter a whole lot to me......and I f'n looooooooooooooooooove this ending......

Raging Bull and K of Com are highest on my rewatch list, saw them once a million years ago

Both absolute masterpieces, and I'd currently put them in my Scorsese top 3 along with Goodfellas. Each perfect in draaaastically different ways. Top 20 or 25 of the decade for me. 

3. Shutter Island
Pretty solid! Retreads familiar ground of past psychological thrillers. Not much desire to revisit it. 

4. Hugo
Marty tries his hand at something totally different, and it doesn't quite work. Does have a nice imagination to it but I hate the oversaturated aesthetic and it's a bit saccharine for my tastes. And Marty leans way too heavily on the crutch of cinematic history because he's clearly in unfamiliar territory.

Surprised The Departed isn't much lower for you. My brain may just be failing me here but I thought I remember you saying you felt it was his worst film, or at least close to it. I think it's very solid, just prefer most of his other stuff.
