people.com/crime/illinois-woman-allegedly-kills-boyfriend-by-pouring-bleach-down-his-throat-during-fight/Just because I like to read and share crazy stories like this. Chicago has no shortage of them right now (and yes it has the entire state of Florida beat). I'm sure there will be fools on social media making fun of the man in this situation for being weak, but that woman looks like she can overpower a man in a fight to me. From what I gather they were fighting in a van, she got the best of him, pinned him down and forced bleach down his throat. Craziness! Expect this story to feature on a future episode of Snapped.

How tasteless is it that when I read "Chicago," I thought of Cell Block Tango?

Yikes. Yet more proof as to why people need to stay out of toxic relationships.

I'm dying at all of your reactions to this.
BUT (and I hate to take it there, but I can't help it) had a man forced a woman to drink bleach, would we be less inclined to laugh?

I brought up Heathers and the scene when a woman drank drain cleaner, and i assure you I was not laughing during that scene. In fact, I was repulsed. And I find this news story very chilling.

I really don't understand what's funny about this. There are funny ways to die but I don't understand what's funny about drinking bleach.

That wasn't the funny part. The funny part was "I was impressed to see she made proper use of the word 'myriad' in her suicide note."

I know this makes me just as bad as them, but I'm laughing at everyone's reactions to this, not really the incident. Sometimes it's funny to me when people respond in this way. I can't help it.

I'll admit it. I laughed at that scene in Heathers. You're a better person than I am.
