I love movies, especially drama and horror movies! And also, I'm a big fan of TV shows.

Have you ever thought about this?
I would like to create 7 seasons (with between 70 and 90 episodes) and add 8 main male characters and 7 villains. Every one main character have to die in every season while only one main character should be alive on Series Finale. It would be crime/thriller/drama show. I can't describe more details, but I guess my idea for it isn't bad. What about you?

Take Debra Wilson's Oprah impersonation from MadTV, fleshed out to reflect her talk show, behind the scenes, daily life, etc. Something like 30 Rock+The Larry Sanders Show+Curb Your Enthusiasm. Speaking of 30 Rock, I think Queen of Jordan should have had at least a 1-season spin-off. Stephnie Weir's Anna Nicole impersonation also from MadTV could have been it's own show too And Resident Evil needs a series but not nothing like the films. Have one season of 8, 40-50-minute episodes. One episode setting up the scene in Raccoon City, the reported attacks, mysterious deaths, then in episode 2, they investigate the mansion. And something based on Fallout. Would be better as a series than a movie.

A 'Mr. Moto' series with a combination of case-of-the-week and overarching stories.
Set it at the same time period as the original film series, L.A. in time prior to WWII, and make Moto a Japanese intelligence agent who poses as a PI, but feels conflicting loyalties to Japan and the U.S. (having been educated in the country), eventually leading him to try and go on the run after Pearl Harbor.
Season2 is set in an internment camp.

A four-season adaptation of James Ellroy's L.A. Quartet (The Black Dahlia, The Big Nowhere, L.A. Confidential, White Jazz). The first season would deal with the Black Dahlia investigation as well as introduce Dudley Smith and his long-reaching corruption that becomes unearthed in future seasons, as well as the future characters from other books (i.e. Bud White and Ed Exley join the force in Season 1).

I've been toying with an idea for a series about 3 friends (2 guys, 1 girl) in college who are film majors (it's loosely based on my personal experiences), but they encounter bizarre/surreal characters that are sometimes archetypal film characters (swashbuckling heroes, supernatural entities, etc) that often play into their real world situations. I've written two short ideas that could be expanded into full length episodes, as both scripts feature the main trio, but I'm still having trouble tying in the fictional world with their real world without it seeming too farfetched. I also had an idea for a show about working in retail but that show Superstore on NBC is set in a retail store...I dunno how much it goes into how shitty it is to work in retail, but I could easily put my own spin on it.

The X-Files meets True Detective.
S1- Revolves around the "Manchurian Candidates", humans that were chipped to become alien sleeper agents. (season would end with a mostly successful thwarting of these... the future seasons would have constant allusions and references to them from here out). S2- Involves the plague cult (I never thought up a name) who are a bunch of people wearing plague masks praising a dearly sick man they've tied to a cross with every intention of each getting infected to spread the disease around NYC, and thus the world. (seeing the Angels and Demons trailer made me lose any and all interest in actually working on this because stupid fucking Dan Brown had the same fucking idea). S3- Would be the Serial Serial Killer (a serial killer who adopts a method from another serial killer from film or television for each murder). S4- This would be the final season which would heavily include the "political" implications of an impending alien invasion along the lines and several groups of humans turning against one another so their heirs will have the good graces of the aliens. (would end with one of the leads, after being the most fair of all the characters, doing something drastic that would put all groups in the same "shit-we're-fucked pot).
Plus, I have this great vision of a recurring black-and-white shot of someone limping towards a meeting of headlights. The first episode would start with just the hand trembling, hanged at his side. Then at the end of the first season, it would reveal the other hand, which is frozen, save for the dangling digits held by whatever little skin is left from the inside of his hand. Third season would reveal a compound fracture... and right before the reveal, it would show him putting too much weight on the leg and falling to a blood curdling scream.
