Both are untalented and unattractive as shit, but DiCaprio is slightly better as an actor and Pitt is slighly hotter (at least when he was young).

DiCaprio is the better actor.
Don't care about the looks.

I dunno on attractiveness and haven't seen OUATIH but they are sort of interesting to compare and not. They are genuine movie stars in their eras that are almost entirely without them - or if you even look at the previous era to them where we need to "misprepresent" actors - ie Hanks is Jack Lemmon! - No he's not, why? ..........Washington is Al Pacino or Robert De Niro - No he's not, why?
But Pitt essentially is a comedic actor - he is funny as sh it - his "timing" is all comedic, he's a goofball........he's dry (and usually dull) in drama. DiCaprio is a far more interesting dramatic actor with more conceptual thought going into those roles and while he can do comedy (brilliantly lately, suddenly, surprisingly) he's always "acting" it - there's nothing goofball about him.
DiCaprio is a much better actor than Pitt........in the way I use that word at least.

Leo is a much better actor but I prefer Pitt. I like the guy.

Not a big fan of either but Leo has been consistently solid since the late 2000's. Pitt has a few shining moments but is mostly so-so and dull. Voted Leo.

I like both actors, even though I'd call neither great, because both have had their ups and downs. I would slightly give the edge to Brad Pitt though, as he has more performances I consider great and less that I don't like.

Leo but it's kind of close to me. I'm big fan of very intense, emotional, powerhouse acting and Leo is definitely that type of actor and he's good at it but sometimes I feel like it's too much, too linear, almost one note from a scene to another, from a character to another. He relies too much on screaming, distorting his face, the furrowed eyebrows, etc... especially when he has to express rage/dissatisfaction (which happens often), I think there is a lack of subdued and quiet intensity in some of his works and at times (especially in the mid-00's) he looked like an angry kid who didn't got his candy, hard to 100% pull off tough guys this way. I think that overall Pitt is probably a lesser actor but there is a confidence, a calm and quiet intensity in some of his works (Fight Club, Jesse James, Moneyball...) that can be inspiring to watch.
Pitt for the look, especially on longevity.

DiCaprio has much higher heights, but Pitt is much more consistent throughout his career and I feel like he's much more castable. That said, they can both be pretty dire if miscast.

Pitt is the more interesting actor to me and is way hotter, even at 10 years older than Leo he sure doesn’t look it...

Pitt is the better actor for me. Honestly, I've only come around to DiCaprio as an actor in the early 2010s. I really like a lot of his 2010 - 2013 stuff.
DiCaprio is someone I have never found attractive at all, whereas as Pitt would have been someone I dug to varying degrees throughout his whole career.

Pitt has made enormous strides in his acting over the years (Moneyball in particular was astonishing work), but Leo is hands down the best American screen actor born after Pacino and/or Denzel. His 2006 was a revelation.

Few can go facially intense like DiCaprio but I prefer versatility in embodying characters. Pitt in both categories.

On the roles they play alone... just realized how different they come off on the screen. I cannot imagine Pitt carrying The Aviator, The Departed (to a degree), Shutter Island and Inception as good as Leo; he isn't the "insecure" type (not saying he hasn't done those when they were asked; he has a couple of very good short monologues in Jesse James in which he lets them sad feelings out... not as accessible as Leo though)… now, try to imagine Leo in Tyler Durden's jacket... Their Once Upon a Time in Hollywood characters show this perfectly. Love how un-interchangeable they are on screen together.
