I kinda wish I had voted but I've seen so many movies I don't know where I would've started or how I would've come up with my favorites. Character entrances aren't things I keep track of or think about that often, and apart from some of the obvious ones in this poll (Rhett Butler, Quint), I can't pull them out of thin air so I would've had to do a deep dive.

I didn't vote so I can't complain (but I'm lowkey complaining about that #1)

I have no right to complain since I didn’t vote, but the lack of Rexy... for shame!

My favorite that didn't make the list (I'm probably the only vote for these three):

Somehow totally missed out on this poll and wish I had voted. Having just re-watched Willy Wonka the other day, Wilder's entrance would easily be my #1. I couldn't believe he doesn't even show up until 44 minutes into the film!
But Harry Lime in The Third Man would most definitely be a deserving #2. I prefer Bronson's entrance in Once Upon a Time in the West, but really all Leone's character entrances are magical. Spielberg was the king of this once upon a time as well (I would have chosen Schindler's entrance as well).
Wouldn't have even thought of the entrances of creatures too, but love that Alien was so high up. If we're counting creatures, that has to be the best entrance ever.

No Grace Kelly in Rear Window? No Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge!? No Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada?
