Just watched Blindspotting (definitely one of the best of the year btw)... and I'll add only two more so I don't hog all the good choices...

Two double-acts for the price of one: Coogan/Reilly and Arianda/Henderson.

Two double-acts for the price of one: Coogan/Reilly and Arianda/Henderson. That was my first thought: Coogan-Reilly.

Also the Favourite had a great acting trio. If you want a duo, I'll pick the two supporting roles (according to the Oscars).

Pfeiffer/Sutherland - "Where is Kyra?" Kendrick/Lively - "A Simple Favor" McCarthy/Grant - "Can You Ever Forgive Me?" Weisz/McAdams - "Disobedience"
and I'm gonna give Mortensen/Ali a mention as well. Say what you want about the film but they're great together and elevated the material considerably.

Not yet mentioned... Camila Morrone and Maia Mitchell in Never Goin' Back. Let an Australian and Argentinian (Leo's gf, hey now) pretty perfectly capture raffish American youths and their foredoomed velleity. The movie feels a little too contained especially how it contrives its characters together, and some of the gross-out humor isn't necessary, but it has serious themes in there and isn't cute about them (cough-cough, Booksmart)..... and worth seeing anyway for the leads who have hilarious, convincing chemistry. Debut directed-written-edited by Augustine Frizzell, David Lowery's wife.

Myself and Maria Helena (although she's going by a different name now... probably because she didn't get top billing).

Coogan and Reilly had the most touching onscreen chemistry of the entire year, Rachel McAdams and Rachel Weisz had the hottest, Kiki Layne and Stephen James had the most romantic, Morrone and Mitchell had the funniest (what's up Mattsby !)

No question for me : Yoo Ah-in and Steven Yeun in Burning. The uneasy balance between truth and deception, reality and creation. There's a scene in this film that I sort of blew passed until the 2nd viewing - in the parking garage looking for the cat - there is not a better acted scene all year and all of it is an uneasy balance between what is said, and not, what is meant and not, what is felt and what is not.
