Dougie JonesSeems that their style of play is still baffling their opponents in the CL which is why they've been successful so far. They're like a completely different side and like you and James, I would love to see them go as far as possible.

who is going down? Hull and Swansea seem to have a new lease on life - though perhaps beating liverpoo isn't such a triumph at this point  . I hope Palace go down. I quite like them as a team but I'm sick of team's trying to depend on Big Fat Corrupt Sam to park the bus and hold them up. It would be hilarious and crazy to see Leicester go and they don't seem to be able to get their shit together. Middlesborough are playing a really boring game and often are suffering for it so wouldn't mind seeing them go back down. so ya those are my predix: Palace Leicester Boro Partly cause I like teams like Sunderland and it looks like Moyes can pull something out (as everyone does with Sunderland somehow). |

wombi Lubezki The only problem I can see coming is though Wenger has been underachieving you've still been top 4 consistently. I'd be worried that the Sir Alex syndrome would come in and you'd fall out of the top 4 (maybe even top 6), I guess it's a case of settling or risking it...

jamesh5There's certainly that risk but I think everything has just become so stale and predictable. Wenger doesn't seem to want to adapt to the way the game is being played right now -- he's still stuck in his own ways from years gone by. Ok the consistent qualification for the CL is an impressive achievement, but if we're going to be knocked out at the same stage everytime, what on earth is the point? Wenger needs to be a little more ruthless with his signings, tactics and overall attitude. We really aren't far off, it just requires an extra push. And for the love of god, can we please tie up Sanchez' contract soon?!

I have so much love and respect for the prof but he's just not open minded enough about new ideas/playing around with formations/willing to drop out of form players. I'm not even one of those "we have to win the title" over-entitled Arsenal fans, it's just time for something fresh. He's one of the greatest things to happen to football regardless.  |

When the draw was announced I had much higher hopes for you than I do now (you were playing better and Bayern weren't storming the Bundesliga) but I think as long as you can avoid the - at this stage mandatory - heavy first leg defeat then I think you should have a chance. 2-1 wouldn't be a bad loss, with the away goal on your side. |

Don't know if any of you watch ARSENALFANTV but it's absolutely glorious. I obviously feel their frustration but my lord some of the outbursts/rants/arguing from our supporters are utterly hilarious (and also spot on) Christ, they even got that Manc Neville to come and explain his remarks about them. |

How good was that Man City - Monaco match? It was like a game of FIFA. Falcao's chip was exquisite, and it also further proved that Aguero is easily one of the best strikers around. Gabriel Jesus over Aguero? Give over.

Absolutely laughable decision. Another case of foreign owners who know fuck all about the game but are there solely for business reasons. No matter how disappointing and potentially perilous your season is, you don't a). Sack the manager after a fairly positive result away at one of Spain's best clubs in the Champions League, b). two weeks after showing your 'backing' of the gaffer and c). with only 13 games left of the season, in which you're either going to heap all your faith on a caretaker or find a manager who's seasoned, experienced and know's what it takes to get out of this rut with such limited time. These fellas haven't the foggiest on where to start and because of that, they're going down. |
