I mean The Favourite, Maniac, Battle of the Sexes, La La Land etc.
Shes nailing it! And thats why she was probably picked by picky director Alexander Payne for upcoming The Menu.

Among the comedy-centered actresses, sure! We tend to see "comedic timing" as a monolithic quality, as if someone who nails one type of comedy will always adapt well to other types of humor, when that's simply no true. Stone has managed to excel in a zany, weird Yorgos Lanthimos black comedy, in straightforwards flicks like Easy A, in more dramatic comedies like Battle of the Sexes and rom-com/charming comedies like La La Land and Crazy Stupid Love. She has a lot of range, even if she hasn't really shown her dramatic side that well yet.

She certainly has an awful lot of range and versatility (only Ronan rivals her out of their generation), although she excels at playing earthy, approachable characters. She has an exquisite command of comedy, and her dramatic skills are growing. She just needs to keep expanding her horizons and avoid getting pigeonholed like Lawrence did.
