Damn, Emma. Three games in her career where she has taken on James, and she's beaten him in two of them. That cushion of his was ridiculous and nobody was toppling that, but she's cemented her place as being a worthy champion.
Is there a Jeopardy Hall of Fame? Like a physical museum to see the best matches and history and such?

How is it that no one was able to identify Tom Hanks in that pic from A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood?? Not exactly a drastic physical transformation lol... they might as well have been looking at a pic from Cloud Atlas, and even there he still looks like Tom Hanks

I just remembered that a few days ago there was a clue asking about who killed Harry Potter's parents, and I really wanted a contestant to say "You-Know-Who" or "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" just to see if it would have been accepted.

My sister yelled out "He Who Must Not Be Named!" while in the kitchen and I promptly lost it.

Jennifer was one of the lamest champs of all time.

Karen looks like she's on fire.
Dig smart girls, but who doesn't? Definitely rooting for her to last through next week at least.

anyone else watching the GOAT tournament? You bet I am. My money is on Ken , and that's not just because he won the first round. I have a feeling about him. Nothing more than that, but I'm going that way. I'm digging the different Final Jeopardy music. The normal music drives me nuts, but this helped a difficult recall. I could think faster with the faster tempo.

200 dollars Well, he knew that he had it if he pulled out the correct response (and that he'd lose if he missed, because his opponent doesn't miss Final Jeopardy), so he could have made it one dollar just to be extra taunting.

So close! Ken just bit more. And uh Brad losing all those Doubles, yikes!
Btw the early Third Man question pumped me up - ZITHER!

Glad we're talking about this. So happy to finally see Ken beat Brad. Had two fists up in the air after his true DD and when he got FJ to clinch it. IDK if this counts as ending Brad's "never lost to a human" claim or if he has to lose the whole thing. I was a little confused when I saw the "TV PG-L"on the ads but apparently it's because Alex said bitchin' A third strong player I think changes the dynamic between Brad and Ken. You have someone else to eatup some of the "buzzer clues" they all know that come down to speed and Ken still does great on the highest value clues because he has the deepest knowledge base. Brad is definitely going to be a factor in the other games, though. 200 dollars Well, he knew that he had it if he pulled out the correct response (and that he'd lose if he missed, because his opponent doesn't miss Final Jeopardy), so he could have made it one dollar just to be extra taunting. Yeah, people win by $1 all the time on regular Jeopardy because you only bet enough to win to be in the best position if everyone misses. Ken dominated the first game and the second was a wash.

I've been watching Jeopardy on a nightly basis for the past three years and I am JUST seeing this thread?
Anyway, great game tonight. Seeing Brad lose everything not one, but four times was like watching King Kong get shot down over and over again. I'm pulling for Ken because he's never won a single tournament--there wasn't even a Tournament of Champions for him because of how many games he won--but as long as it's a great competition, I'm sure I'm sure I'll be fine with the winner regardless.

Fuck yeah, Kirby. Jennifer was one of the lamest champs of all time. She has the second-longest run of any female ever, tied with Karen--only she has about $60K more.

TeamKen! James seemed off his game, lotta wrong answers... Brad must have a mystical sixth sense for Daily Doubles - every night he's picked 'em out on a full board. Dude stands no chance of course (last night he was in the f'n negative most of the night) but leave it to him to get the questions on sports and comics and Between Two Ferns! Oh, highlight of the night, Christopher Plummer and his masterful line delivery "And I got my money back" - FYC Outstanding Guest Actor Emmy.

Hope he closes it out Tuesday, as fun as the event is. I don't think my nerves could handle him and James tied at two.

I'm such a wimp when I watch sporting events or something like this that once my team starts to make it too close or start losing, I can't watch it because I feel I'm bringing them too much bad luck. So I could only watch the last part live just to see who won because I didn't want to jinx Ken like I did the second night, lol. I was so happy he won. Not sure if I can handle watching the fourth night, but I'll try as long as it doesn't start looking like the second night.
