I've been meaning to read Winslow -- I hear nothing but great things, and I have his first two books in the series on my Kindle.

In the article, two other little updates: Leo still involved with Satori, and Mamet no longer writing The Force. He had a funny line last year about that (from a Vulture interview): "I wrote this great script for Jim Mangold. He took it to the producers. They said it was a wonderful script, but would you mind making it a little bit worse?"

Scott Frank was hired to re-write The Force almost a year ago... hoping there will be a decent amount Mamet left over... also hope Mangold makes it next. There's been no news on Satori in at least 6 years... highly doubt it'll ever happen with Leo.

Hopefully it's as dark as Savages...
But, ya know, more coherent.
