1957: Two amazing films but I've always preferred The Seventh Seal
1958: My pick is The Magician although Brink of Life is quite good too
1963: Winter Light is excellent but The Silence is really something special
1968: I think Hour of the Wolf is kinda lesser Bergman (still good though) while Shame is terrific

I've seen 20 Bergman's, but somehow only twice two of the same year.
1957 is amazing cause it has his two best films in the same year. The Seventh Seal is fantastic, but Wild Strawberries is even better.
1963: Both are fine, but not great. I prefer Winter Light a bit.

I've seen 14 of his films, but for the purposes of this poll I can only vote for:
1957: The Seventh Seal
1963: Winter Light

1957: Both great but The Seventh Seal is one for the ages. 1963: Don't care for either one. I guess Winter Light, barely. 1968: Shame is a masterpiece whereas Hour of the Wolf feels like glorified psychodrama.

I could only vote for 1957 and that was the toughest call...
Anyway, 7th seal for me.
