It's my most anticipated movie of the year, but I don't expect it to be a major awards contender. At least not at the Oscars.

1. Will it get US distribution? 2. Will it be good? 3. Will Hollywood be in righteous crusade mode or not next award season?

Oh, great but not at the Oscars who will continue to avoid controversy the way they and their preferential ballot avoids quality. It's actually one of the 4 um 3 Horsemen of the Apocalypse in 2019 and it rides in the the horse of Famine (or in this case Hypocrisy which makes us spiritually hungry ), along with (Manson bringing) Death (Tarantino) And (Mob) War (Scorsese). As the prophecy says - it buries the bloated f'n Oscar corpse that man-child Steven Spielberg keeps calling "the theatrical experience" while a whole generation thinks the 4 um 3 Horsemen would make a bad-ass MCU film if you could just add the superheroes and cut out that boring vengeful God stuff. Shrug.

Oh honey, it will be ignored. I thought the Academy had expelled Polanski (along with Bill Cosby after the #MeToo campaign) and then to make it more messy Polanski is now suing the Academy. In a way, that is not such a bad thing as it will stop all those slutty Hollywood starlets from trying to sleep with Jean Dujardin... I did see him first!... and he's in my top ten on my bucket list. This picture says it all... The hungry look on her face, the hat... the smile... If only security hadn't forcefully removed me from the set.
