Let's do Hitch today as well! I'll exclude the silent period since a lot of those movies are lost and I doubt there'd be much voting there anyway.

1940: Rebecca for me but Foreign Correspondent is a thrilling film as well and I'm quite happy both of them were rather heavily features at that year's Oscars.
1954: Dial M for Murder is a lot of fun but Rear Window is beyond comparison.
1955: Two enjoyable entries in Hitch's filmography...I like Trouble's interesting humor a bit more than Thief's thrills. Although both of them are gorgeous to look at.
1956: The Man Who Knew Too Much is great entertainment but I kinda love the bleak oppressing feeling of The Wrong Man.

1934 - Haven't seen them
1936 - Two of Hitch's lesser works. I give Sabotage the edge, because it was directed better. Secret Agent could have been much better.
1940 - I'll be in the minority here, but who cares. Rebecca has a nice atmosphere, but I think it's psycholgically unconvincing and it can't really make me care for his characters. On the other hand Foreign Correspondent is a superb thriller. Sadly it's forgotten today against the background of Hitchock's more popular films, but I personally still have it as one of his best works and it gets my vote here.
1941 - Suspicion is not great, but easily better than Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The best thing I can say about the latter one is, that it's at least better than the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie movie of the same name.
1954 - Rear Window is Hitchock's best film. Period.
1955 - I've always loved the elegant cat-and-mouse-game of To Catch a Thief with it's beautiful shot Cote d'Azur setting, it's great dialogues and the wonderful chemistry between Grant and Kelly. The Trouble with Harry is funny sometimes, but the joke of this special situation drains along the film.
1956 - My initial opinion is that I like The Man Who Knew Too Much better, but I really need to rewatch The Wrong Man. I'll skip that one.

Voted for the years I've seen. Rebecca is Hitch's top for me.
