So, uhh, what happened to this show after Season 3? I know that Dan Harmon was fired at the end of Season Three, so that explains the huge decline in quality for Season 4. But once he returned, was Pierce (aka Chevy Chase) leaving really that big of a loss that he couldn't find his groove again? There were MAYBE two or three good episodes in the entirety of the last three seasons (S4-S6), with Danny Pudi being the only one of the group to actually be trying after a certain point. So, what the hell happened? Why bring in Jonathan Banks and Keith David for literally no purpose but to fill the old man void? Just... why? So much why. I will say, though, the first three seasons are brilliant on re-watch. I wasn't big on it after watching the first three a long time ago. I thought after the brilliant first season - which showed real characters put in real situations - the 2nd and 3rd were a decline due to the weird, wacky stuff (aka paintball, space travel, etc.) that the later seasons brought. But watching it again, I really admired the attention to detail and the passion for paying homage to classic film or television. All the while, they stayed true to each character and really built upon the mythos of Greendale itself. You know. Until Season 4 and stuff. Also, answer these questions (and please use spoilers for the last if need be): Favorite Character: Troy Barnes. Favorite Performance: Danny Pudi. Favorite Episode: "Intermediate Documentary Filmmaking" Favorite Season: Tough, but either One or Three. Favorite Moment:

I just like to pretend that it ended with Season 3 . Because seriously, everything up until Season 4 was gold, and then... yeah... the Brie Larson appearance was about the only thing I can really remember liking about Season 4. Favorite character: Troy Barnes Favorite performance: Alison Brie Favorite Episode: Epidemiology Favorite Season: Season 2. No competition. Favorite Moment: In the earlier seasons, there's so many end credit scene gems... like this one:

the Brie Larson appearance was about the only thing I can really remember liking about Season 4. Good call. I forgot about that John Hughes-type episode. That was actually a pretty decent one. But yeah, I think what killed it was that they had such a perfect chemistry before, and once people started to disappear from the group and new ones took their place, it ruined any spark or synergy they had. Good call on "Epidemiology". It's certainly one of my favorite Troy episodes. But the episode itself is why I can't call season two my favorite. It forgets to tell the main story present in the first and third seasons and opts for one-hit wonder episodes like that so they can do their movie references. They are fun (and funny), but just not why I enjoyed the show anyway. Also, loved those Troy and Abed credit moments.

I have a question, and it involves this show. Hopefully, you guys will be able to help me. "You are scrappin' dippin' and dappin' and don't know what's happening". Is this used frequently? I'm sure I've heard it before at least once, but I can't remember where. Do you guys know what this means, and can you explain it to a non-native English speaker?
