Yeah, I think A Star Is Born likely edges out the rest, although I hope it misses Adapted Screenplay with a reckoning, even though I doubt that'll happen.

The Favourite - 10 noms
Picture Director Actress Supporting Actress Supporting Actress Screenplay Cinematography Editing Production Design Costume Design
Feels right. It is a little shaky, though, in a couple categories.

If The Favourite leads the noms, it'll be the third time this decade - after Birdman and La La Land - that Emma Stone stars in the most nominated movie of the year. She's truly having the career we all thought Lawrence, Larson, Mara and even Olsen would have.

I'm going to predict a tie between A Star is Born & The Favourite with 10 a piece...sit on that fence Johnny!

I would guess A Star Is Born and then The Favourite. Still a small chance it ends up being Black Panther too.

The Favourite, followed by A Star is Born. Could be tied. Then Roma third.

Genuinely curious why people are predicting "A Star is Born" for Sound Editing.
I have "Roma", "The Favourite" and "A Star is Born" each getting 9 noms.
"Roma" - Picture, Director, Original Screenplay, Cinematography, Production Design, Editing, Sound Mixing, Sound Editing, Foreign Language Film I can see it missing both Sound categories and maybe even something like Editing or Production Design. On the other hand, Aparicio may be nominated for Best Actress.
"The Favourite" - Picture, Director, Actress, Supporting Actress, Supporting Actress, Original Screenplay, Cinematography, Production Design, Costume Design I can see it missing Director and maybe Cinematography.
"A Star is Born" - Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor, Adapted Screenplay, Editing, Original Song, Sound Mixing This I can see missing Supporting Actor.

I read somewhere that Cuaron alone could get like 5 nods for Roma.

I read somewhere that Cuaron alone could get like 5 nods for Roma. It’s too bad that foreign language Oscars go to the country of origin otherwise he could get 6.

I'm going to predict a tie between A Star is Born & The Favourite with 10 a piece...sit on that fence Johnny! Well, I was almost right, I just put the wrong film in the tie.
I didn't factor in that Marina de Tavira nomination, and those Director and Editing snubs for A Star is Born.
