Amazing acting in this film, I do give the edge to Postlethwaite though. DDL is brilliant in how he develops his characters growth over the years. Thompson is a little overrated for me but still has some powerful moments.

As great as Postlethwaite was (and he's probably my Supporting Actor winner that year) I just think Day-Lewis was that tad better. But it's tough to compare a lead role with a supporting one.

FANTASTIC FILM ! Pete P. is also my supporting actor win for that year but DDL still remains the MVP in my book (my 1st RU).Emma Thompson was bloody brilliant as well.

Biggest Day-Lewis fan there is, and I still say it's Postlethwaite. Still, an incredible three-hander.
