I have watched several of his films in the past month and I can say that he has become one of my favorite directors. he is probably among the best action directors, as his films are extremely dynamic and energetic and contain a huge amount of creativity and imagination that most action films lack. Here is how I'd rank his films:
Masterful: 1. Peking Opera Blues 2. Green Snake
Great: 3. Dangerous Encounters Of The First Kind 4. Once Upon A Time In China 5. Detective Dee And The Mystery Of The Phantom Flame
Very Good: 6. The Blade 7. Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings 8. Zu: Warriors From The Magic Mountain 9. Once Upon A Time In China 2 10. Seven Swords 11. Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon
Good/Above Average: 12. Missing
Has anyone seen any of his films and if so what are your thoughts on them?

"The Blade" is probably my favorite. "Once Upon a Time in China"s are also good but I'd also like to give a shout out to another Jet Li flick "The Master" - the plot is almost nonexistent but the fight sequences are cool. I'm not a big fan of the rest I've seen though: "Twin Dragons" is OK, it's not that funny and I'd not consider action sequences among Chan's best but it's watchable. "Seven Swords" has its moments but in general, it was uncompelling and boring. His Van Damme flicks are probably the worst I've seen from him.
Need to see more stuff though.

I haven't seen The Master, but it's probably a film I will enjoy, as Jet Li is among my favorite action stars. I'm definitely looking forward to watching it. I haven't seen his two collaborations with JCVD, as I haven't heard good things about them and, generally, Asian directors don't work well within a western setting.
