Bradley Cooper not winning an Oscar this year will be so funny that it gets nominated for the Best Picture — Comedy Golden Globe next year.

Colman is officially our next Oscar winner. Gaga is over. I'm positive now. Eh they've just been given the go ahead to default to Close. I say this as someone who wants Colman to win mind you. I don't see it at all. It's not unprecedented for an actor to win in a sole nomination for their film, but it doesn't help either, especially going against an awards juggernaut like The Favourite. Close's win tonight was a shocking upset but I think there's a reason most of us didn't see it coming and I don't think it's an upset she'll be able to replicate. The odds definitely favor Colman right now.

Malek... well, at least it's killing the ASIB's chances, right? Right?

So... Rami Malek is officially the frontrunner now? It's definitely between Bale and Malek but I give the edge to Bale.

A Star is Born winning Best Picture would set the Academy back like ten years.
But Bohemian Rhapsody winning would set it back about thirty.

I don't think any award show has been as unpredictable as this one. Almost every major category has been an upset.
