Thoughts on The Darjeeling Limited?

I liked it. It was fun with some good comedy. Wes Anderson weird in the usuallly enjoyable ways. I don't remember anything annoying nor very outstanding about it except the cinematography and color palette. My memory of it is less as a good comedy though, and more as a fun exploration of our loaded lifelong relationships with our mothers. Kind of a complement to Royal Tenenbaums centered around the father. As such, it forms a nice triangle with Moonrise Kingdom centered around growing kids. Wow, just thought of this pattern
