I've been wanting to focus more on classic directors and this one ended up being a doozy. Despite so many iconic scores in his films, they don't really fit the confines of a montage. Hope you guys enjoy the master of suspense!

Holy crap, MAJOR props for including his silent era stuff. I remember when we talked about it awhile back, you weren't sure how far back you were going. You'd never realize just how many different movies are present in this mere four minutes. Brilliant move to have so much dialogue on the audio to balance out the absence of the scores, though the music choices are still great. Bankhead's laugh just as Bates smiles is so perfect. I'm living for that section that makes Balsam looking like he's getting pushed followed by the fall from Saboteur linking to the Vertigo shot. Beautiful work, as always. So, so good.

He has a really extensive filmography but I wanted to have his complete works on display -- as great an undertaking as it was. I appreciate you watching, as always.
