The Eyes of My Mother is one of my favorite movies of this decade and after seeing the trailer, I am dying to see this even more. The lead couple look crazy hot!! And Mia deserves SO much more recognition for her versatility and just the kind of projects she chooses. Love her!

Caught this one at AFI. It's muuuuch weirder than The Eyes of My Mother (which was top five of 2016 for me), but it's still a strong follow-up (if not necessarily as good as his debut).
Still, a pretty unique vision and there's one scene that's probably one of my favorites of the year. Abbott is outstanding, but Wasikowska is good too. Soundtrack is killer (heh heh).
