No. A bit too glossily pretty, like a doll. Winslet, on the other hand, is at her most gorgeous in this film. I was in love as a kid

It's very strange for me to compare the beauty of a man to the beauty of a woman But no , I don't think he was more "attractive" than Winslet in that film.Way too childish looking/sounding. Despite of her very young age , Winslet was already a "mature" beauty. Seriously , she could have easily passed as Dicaprio's mom

Hard for me to say but Peter Sellers has a great movie line - 28 seconds in (courtesy of Woody Allen's screenplay)

Nope. DiCaprio was pretty alright but Winslet was something else.

That's not even up to debate. Winslet is always good-looking, but DiCaprio was outright dropdead gorgeous and set the bar way too high for any teen heartrob that came before. No, I'm not Xavier Dolan

Leo's a good looking dude...
But the movie wouldn't be as iconic as it is without that "draw me" scene.

People back then certainly thought he was. He was the reason why the ladies (and gays) went back repeatedly in droves. For the straight guys it was all about the sinking/special effects. Winslet had her fans, for sure, but not many teenagers were decorating their lockers or bedroom walls with posters of her, unless it was a still from Titanic or DiCaprio was in the same shot. Even though she was playing the main character, Rose/Winslet became an afterthought. Then, during Oscar season, she had gained weight and looked chubbier and got a lot of ribbing for that. Almost as bad as when Alicia Silverstone was referred to as "Fatgirl" the previous year after putting on a few pounds.
