In other words, which mode of shopping do you say you use more often?
I prefer to shop in store - I have a clearer image of what I'm buying, and I also feel good about supporting local jobs/the local economy.

I don't like shopping at all aside from books and DVDs. My preference for those definitely is to go in the store (love to walk between books and maybe find one I've been looking for or also someones that just look interesting) and for other things the same counts as well. For the same two reasons you already pointed out (also I don't like amazon's policies and therefore boycott it).

Clothes wise, in a store. I never order clothes online as I like to know how things look on me and that they fit well before I pay for them.
Blu-Ray wise, it is all online now.
Aside from that, it's probably about 50/50, though I do try as much as possible to actually shop in a store.

Store everyday. Online only for items that aren't easily available in my area.

Store for everything. I just prefer the feeling of being able to get something I want that same day as opposed to having to wait a week or so if I order something online.

Online without a doubt.
I’m the worst shopper (in terms of clothes) that anyone will meet. I hate walking in the store, always getting asked if I need help, and trying on shit. Hate it.
I’ll go to a store for anything else.

In store for items that are available and online for rare things (mostly books). I actually find that going to stores is much better for my wallet. I make sure that I really want the item before committing myself to go to the store. It also gives me more time to decide if I really want something or not. Its so easy to just buy online. Its nice if you really want it, but being a saver these days I have to stay away from online shopping. Malls are easy. My laptop can me tempting but I will beat it .

I dislike that you would have to rely on delivery services and their schedule. I dislike not having that control especially if I dish out a good amount of money for something.

I prefer to find out what I'm buying in the store... And then buy it cheaper online. My mom taught me that trick, but it really is effective. Amazon Prime practically rules my world.

I have some friends who work in stores and they tell me how bad people like you are for them, making them waste a lot of time for finding clothes/shoes that fit, or sport items that satisfy their needs, or electronic devices and so on, and after one hour of consulting they just go away, sometimes telling them plain they're buying online. Besides, most stores have a device counting the people getting in, so if shop assistants sell too few related to the number of people who walked in, they run the risk to get fired. What you do is just not respectful.

What you do is just not respectful. I am humbled. I do make sure to actually buy items at the store, but I keep it to low priced knick knacks that I was planning on getting anyway. Those would be unlikely to help with the second issue you stated, however.

Depends on the item actually. If it's a premium brand i'll buy it from the store, otherwise i'll it order it online.
