Big honorable mentions to Kathryn Hahn in Private Life, and Elsie Fisher in Eighth Grade.
I haven't watched much TV this year, but the performances I HAVE to mention, as being not just among the best of the year but among the best ever in the medium, are of course Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell turning in their best work yet in the final season of The Americans, and Will Arnett's voice work reaching staggering heights on BoJack Horseman.
