We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) -- I made sure to comment with some scattershot thoughts when it was fresh in my mind on the AMARA voting thread, and I don't have too much to add. It's not bad, but a missed opportunity that falls flat whenever Kevin becomes the focus. 6/10Stray Dog (2014) -- Not a bad doc, I guess. I appreciate that it challenges stereotypes of bikers and trailer park dwellers in its portrait of Ron Hall, I just don't find it all that compelling in the way it goes about this. It's entertaining enough and approaches its subject with kindness, and that's more than you'll ever get from any major news outlet. 6/10Drive (2011 rewatch) -- This movie is so cool, man. 9/10Don't Talk to Strange Men (1962) -- There is some good suspense work in here, but it gets drowned out by the protagonist's parents telling her not to talk to strange men. Also her bus conductor. And her boss. Hell, even her little sister. Just shut up with the preaching AND LET HER TALK TO THE STRANGE MAN, GODDAMNIT! 5/10

Happy Death Day - Enjoyed this a lot. A nice enough divergence from your average horror film too. Just plain fun. - 7.5 / 10
The Princess Bride - Did a library screening of this. Still love this. - 10 / 10

Climax (2018) - Interesting film for sure, that manages effectively to pull you into a kind of nightmarish hallucinatory state. So far, my favorite film from Gaspar Noe. - 7/10
The Night Comes For Us (2018) - A film thin on plot, but heavy on action, that features some incredible action sequences. A very entertaining watch. - 7/10
